What am I thinking?

    Original Songs

Your Eyes – Original track. Guitar/bass/vocals/Sonic Synth (for drums, pad and chorus guitar). Not sure what genre this is in…laid back melodic rock? Doesn’t sounds so good when you put it like that. Best if you take a listen.

Rescue You – Drums not quite right…or more likely, my playing is out of time. Need to re-record really, but you get the idea. Bit more rocky than Your Eyes. Guitar through Rock Amp Legends VST, bass DI’d, vocals through AT4033 and drums from Sonic Synth.

Tectonic – A moody trip-hop style track – it’s just a rough mix. I was experimenting with synths vsti’s (V-Station and Korg Legacy) to create something a bit moody.

Dark Monk – Entry for the IK Multimedia competition on KvR. Recorded in Sonar v.2, using Sonic Synth and Amplitube. The track is in an ambient style with a haunting piano riff. The drum programming sucks though….no wonder it didn’t win!

Original Songs – Collaborations with Dr. Timo

I Wish I Was Dead – Blues song I recorded during a blues jam with my friend Timo. Timo was using a Fender Strat into a POD.

All Night Long – Another bluesy track with Timo, this time with a bit of acoustic guitar and organs courtesy of Sonic Synth. Check out the NiN vocals too – heh!

In The Room – This one was inspired by Halloween – in fact it was the day after. You never know what’s going to come from a Studiosonic and Timo collaboration! Haunting vocals, sung to an electro-guitar-pop track.

When It’s Over – Interesting combination this one – pop-rock chorus and communist march-esque verse – all about a man’s discovery of the horror of his corporate life. You’d better give it a listen!

Running – A rock song, with bagpipes. What more can you ask for? First song that uses my Variax.

Leave It To Fate – This one starts of with a great effect….it’s supposed to sound like you are walking through a club at one of our gigs! Anyway – to the song…pop-rock song about a guy who’s split up from his girlfriend, but has faith that they’ll get back together.

Original Songs – Collaborations with Mr. Bleach

The Mantis Blues – Using a Gibson Les Paul Studio and a PRS SE Soapbar, this track is the first blues release from the Mr. Bleach and studiosonic collaboration. Over a funky blues riff, we both lay down some blues solos.

    Covers

Escape – Cover of the Enrique Englasias track….no laughing now…
